1. Our first pandemic….COVID-19, the year of the coronavirus!
2. Hours and days and weeks and months of family fun and togetherness.
3. We started the year with all three playing SBMSA basketball, Annie for the Dream, Gwyn for the Shock and Jacob for the Spurs.
4. Watching both Gwyn and Annie play volleyball for Petite Elite.
5. Gwyn turned 12, Escape Room, Dinner and Fun.
6. I threw 50th birthday parties for Danielle and Marli.
7. House of Blues Gospel Brunch with the Rushings.
8. Brian working from home, Jacob, Gwyn and Annie all virtual schooling from March – June!
9. Annie’s Go Texan Day for 4th Grade.
10. Gwyn and Annie playing one game together on the Angels in 12U softball.
11. SBMSA night at the Stratford vs Memorial Varsity softball game.
12. Annie making All-Stars for SBMSA basketball as a 4th grader in a 4th/5th grade league.
13. Watching Jacob play baseball for Marucci.
14. Annie playing TFC soccer and killing it!
15. A very SLOW April with the Stay at Home order.
16. Jacob and my 30 Day Peloton Challenge!
17. Attending church virtually since March!
18. Easter at home together, but all dressed up!
19. Gwyn dying my roots.
20. Brian’s countless gourmet meals.

22. Jacob overtaking me in height, he left me in the dust!
23. House and closet clean out, powerwashing the driveway, coloring with Annie, dying Gwyn’s hair, made up games, board games, family fun time!
24. Jacob graduating from MMS and moving on to SHS!
25. Return of softball and baseball, and some normalcy.
26. Louisiana and Brenham, TX trips for softball.
27. Brian and I celebrated 20 years!!
28. Weekend trip to Rockport with the Kiersh and Moss families.
29. Montana summer vacation…the trip of a lifetime, Glacier National Park, fly fishing, hiking, white river rafting, biking.
30. Brian officially gets readers because he’s old, ha!
31. Jacob turns 14! Complete with a spikeball/basketball/blitzball in the easement, sushi and poker birthday.
32. My foot surgery to remove a benign encondroma, glad I did it!
33. Brian turns 43!
34. The start of 9th, 7th, and 5th grade virtually.
35. Fall Warriors baseball for Jacob.
36. Gwyn completing Confirmation at church.
37. Annie turns 11 complete with a goat yoga and a new bike!
38. Jacob’s first freshman homecoming, dance cancelled due to COVID, but dinner/football game fun.
39. Gwyn doing Dance Club, dancing with Brian at the final class.
40. Jacob weekend with the Gilbert’s at their Bay House.
41. Gwyn making MMS A team volleyball.
42. Halloween fun, Annie as a yellow M&M, Gwyn as Piglet, Jacob as an Irish fairy??
43. Gwyn and Annie playing together on Heat and winning many tournaments!
44. A low-key Thanksgiving at home.
45. Gnome Christmas parties for Gwyn and friends and Annie and friends.
46. Holiday Hustle Fun Run…Annie winning overall female!
47. A zoom Christmas, candlelight service in the socially distanced church parking lot.
48. Camping at Huntsville State Park with the Rushings and Couches.
49. Cherishing all the moments, days, weeks of togetherness that we had been gifted through a calm of the normal chaos and busyness that pulls us apart.
50. Ringing in the New Year, good riddance 2020 full of political and social unrest as well as coronavirus that caused huge disruption, we are looking forward to 2021!
