Swim Team, Softball, Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to Brian!  Renaissance man extraordinaire...never one to disappoint, whether it be a birthday cake, pumpkin carving, art car parade, cabinet builder, bike buyer, master lego builder, slip n slide designer, landscape architect, scorekeeper, dugout Dad, etc, etc, etc!!  We are so blessed to be his, he works so hard for us!  Here is Jacob with his proud Dad:
 Brian and his girls:
Brian spent Father's Day weekend at the softball field, Gwyn played 7 games in 2 days, and came home with a third place trophy!

Such a fun group of girls!

It has been getting HOT in Houston...we are enjoying the pool, and have been going through swim suits and towels like crazy!

 This one...full of sass!

The many faces of our Annie...wouldn't trade her for the world!

The girls had a writing camp with some of the Kinder teachers, so Jacob and I got some one on one time...Top Golf!

Jacob got about four times his score, when he threw the golf balls instead of hitting them...he had better stick to baseball!

Jacob got his early birthday present...a bigger bike with gears, he and Brian went out biking on the bayou, he came out covered in mud, but with the biggest smile on his  face!

 Gwyn had a playdate!!
 Annie loves Watermelon!
Swim team almost over...both Jacob and Gwyn qualified for the Meet of Champs...Brian will have to continue breaking out the sharpies to draw piranhas...they are intimidating, ha!
Brian at one point had a long line of kids lined up to get their Piranhas drawn on!

The kids designed and built a Fairy Garden...so cute!
 These two...Barracuda vs Piranha!
 In Heaven...at Amy's Ice Cream!
At Annie's pre-op appointment for getting her tonsils out next week...she said, say what??

This one admitted she wants to get glasses and braces, ha!
One last one of my favorite people!

Last Day of School...Kicking Summer Off with a Bang!!

And just like that, a blink of an eye, another school year has come and  gone.  Hard to imagine I now have a 4th grader, a 2nd grader and a Kindergartener!  It has been a great year for all three, we were blessed with amazing teachers.

Bus stop on the last day!

One of the most anticipated events of the whole year...Boogie Down Brittmoore where the whole community lines the streets on both sides and the 5th graders who are graduating from Rummel Creek run down to Plaza Oaks to their pool party after the last day of school.  I love this, as the adults, retired neighbors, everyone gets so into this...and of course, it is the highlight of Jacob's year, as he's launching fast balls!

 4th grade boys!
 2nd grade girls!
Video of Boogie Down:

Poor Annie was sick the first day of summer!
 Family game night!
A fun trip over to Lake McQueeny with three other families...the water was a little too high due to upstream lake releases, so the inventive Dads created a $300 slip n slide...I think more fun for the adults than the kids, ha!

Needless to say, no adults braved getting into the hot tub after 9 kids were in it!

 A boys dream discovery...a leech!

Videos of slip n slide:

Brian thought he broke his foot, he's just old, took a few days of being easy on it, bue he's back to normal!
First swim meet of the year...Katterhenry's were in it to win it, ha!

Brian drew his piranhas on the kids backs...he ended up with a line...one kid even tried to tip him, ha!

Annie swam 6 and Under, with a couple of Gwyn's friends!
Videos of kids swimming and of Annie's swimming reward...a fluttby fairy!

Root canal and crown for Gwyn who somehow cracked a tooth, and half of it was missing!
