They grow up too fast, the saying the days are long but the years are short is so true. I now have a sophomore in high school and two in middle school! Lots of fun back to school, as much as they probably won't admit, I think they were all ready! So much has gone in since we got back from St. Thomas. Jacob got his permit, so is now daily begging us to drive...driving in Houston is so stressful! He also had elbow surgery, praying the long road of recovery is healing and worth it. Annie had a soccer tournament in Austin, so Gwyn and I made a girls trip out of it. Brian will be having back surgery next week to cut out a herniated disc that is sitting on his sciatic nerve, causing him excruciating pain...so awful, but we've met our deductible, easy to do with two surgeries this year! Lot of fun birthday parties and a visit from Nana and Papa over Labor Day.
