COVID Summer of 2020

Bizarre summer of 2020, Houston slowly opened back up between end of May to end of July.  We were able to get in a few softball tournaments, and a couple baseball tournaments, that felt a little like normal.

Father's Day with this AWESOME DAD!

 My precious  boy!!
COVID boredom led to some creative uses of time, especially if you are grounded...Jacob made a picnic table for squirrels that they used for quite some time.

We had a friend drop off some fresh caught, never been frozen tuna from the Gulf, the kids devoured it.

The Katterhenry Three Stack goal was met with so much excitement for their success!

My success of the summer...my pots look beautiful!!  Finally found the right plants for partial shade...now on to the backyard where everything has died!
Brian sometimes misses spots while shaving his head:
 The ultimate homemade burger:
Quick 2 night trip to Rockport was so fun.

Gwyn's confirmation photo, taken by me as we've been virtual since March!

End of School, Softball and Baseball are back!

And just like that he is off to high school, how did that happen so fast??  He is growing up so quickly, and right before our eyes.  I have to squeeze him every chance I can get.  This was during Covid-19, in major need of a haircut!

May came and went, had a fun Mother's Day with lots of homemade sweet gifts from my kiddos:

 Backyard picnic!
 Gwyn and friends:
 Pepper still weird and pokey:
She's a sweaty faced girl who loves soccer!
Brian got into making homemade pasta:
The girls made a sign to keep Jacob out of the office while school in session:

 Celebrated Jason's birthday, he's an old man, we didn't have a 42, but had a 37 + 6!

Spikeball continues to be the biggest hit:
Annie's drive thru last day of school:

A little trip to Lafayette to play some softball since Texas wasn't open to play yet...lots of fun!

 Celebrated our 20 year anniversary!!

 A little more softball:

Brian's try at legit pasta, it was great, and he had a good helper!
