Vacation to Colorado

This will be a VERY picture "heavy" blog.  We just got back from a wonderful week in Beaver Creek, Vail and Breckenridge, Colorado.  The weather was amazing, the mountains beautiful and our time away with the kids was unforgettable.  Lots of precious family memories made on this trip!  We started the trip off in Beaver Creek, we stayed 5 nights there and took a day trip over to Vail.  We rode the lift up to the top of the mountain several times, hiked, ate lots of yummy food, explored the area and even got to go to the rodeo and meet up with some other friends from Jacob's school.  Brian went mountain biking, riding the lift up with his bike, then riding down the mountain.  Brian also saw a black bear on his walk back with Jacob after picking up dinner, WOW!  The best money spent was the kids ice skating at the base of the mountain.  I think Jacob provided free entertainment to everyone who was walking by, he was HILARIOUS!  Gwyn was brave:)  We then spent 3 nights in Breckenridge where we celebrated the 4th with a parade on downtown Main Street, played on the mountain fun park, roller coaster, alpine slides, trampolines and lift to the top of the mountain and hiking.

 Poor Jason lasted a few days, but altitude sickness got pretty bad and he had to fly back to Houston:(
