Annie's Art Car Parade and Easter

The PreK Art Car Parade was a sight to see...so many weeks of preparation, hours of planning, and countless days of executing what will for sure be one of the most talked about cars for years to come. Most everyone else had a decorated card board box...not Annie, Brian had different plans for his special little girl...she wore it like a champ!

Proud of her car:

I told Brian what if she ended up being sick the day of, he was ready to wear it himself if that would have been the case, ha!

Two bests with their teacher...

The two dads in competition with each other...their proud little girls!
Counterweights applied to balance the load of the 24 double A batteries to power front, tail, and side lights.

A few pics from weeks before in prep...don't even ask how much money this cost:

Easter was a fun weekend, the kids were out of school for Good Friday, so we took advantage of the good weather and dyed some eggs with the neighbors!  Jacob with his one perfect egg, most kids were dying 6 or 7, he chose to perfect just one...his father's child:

Love these sweet kiddos:

Easter lunch with friends:

6 family egg hunt...a huge success!

Jacob's air horn made an appearance to stage out the hunters by age:

Checking their loot:

From Easter Lunch:
A few action shots on the trampoline:

Girl Scouts:
More softball...Venom is currently 5-0, undefeated!

Annie's sporting G's shirt she made her, super cute!
Head to toe KD:
My cutie:
Getting ready for swim team!

She eats ribs to the bone, cleans them better than anyone I've ever seen:
I love her family pics:

Annie's book came home from school, I can't get enough of her writing and drawing:

She says, "I like the squirrel in the street."  There was a dead one in front of our house that she drew for this picture, ha!

Funny things the kids said this week:

Jacob while ordering at Chilis:  I'll take a rack of ribs with a side of corn dog.
Annie while we are eating kolaches:  Remember when I barfed up a kolache.
