Jacob was a Russian Baker in the 4th grade Nutcracker play...it was very fun to watch these boys perform. I was able to help one afternoon a week the past few weeks getting the boys ready for this dance and I thought they were great! He is just so cute!
Here is a video of his dancing part:
Sweet Annie had her Thanksgiving program last week followed up by a Thanksgiving feast. She was the cutest little Indian, and her artwork on her headband and her costume was amazing...the girl has skilz!
Here is a video of her program:
Gwyn is as lovely as ever:)
I got this cute pic at her last jazz / hip hop class.
We went to see Gwyn's sweet friend Avery in her play performance:
Gwyn's turkey in disguise, so it doesn't get eaten for Thanksgiving:
Funny thing from Jacob this week:
Jacob (after watching the Kay jewelers commercial): Every kiss begins with K, what did your kiss begin with, just a regular old ring? Ha!!
Both Gwyn and Annie had their last soccer games of the season, followed up by end of season parties. Gwyn's team was undefeated until their final game, and Annie's team was defeated every single game, ha! They both had so much fun and enjoyed playing with their friends. We are going into a very busy week with Jacob's Nutcracker play, Annie's Thanksgiving program, and then Thanksgiving the following week. Time is flying by. Christmas is literally right around the corner!! Jason got these great pics of Gwyn:
Her sweet team:
This awesome girl was co-high scorer for the season...each of them scored 6 of their teams total 25 goals for the season.
Gwyn and her awesome coaches:
Gwyn made this sign for her last game at 6 am in the morning, she was ready!
My sweet little Dash soccer player...she is SO much fun to watch play!
I have to brag on this boy today. Gwyn's team played at Second Baptist, and Jacob and two of his friends realized that Lance Berkman was over by the batting cages by the soccer field. Lance is now the Second Baptist high school baseball coach. They went over and had two balls, and he signed them both. One for Jacob and his friend. He had another friend who didn't get a signed ball because they didn't have another ball for Lance to sign. So, Jacob gave his friend his signed ball. I asked him if he wanted the ball, and he said yes, but he felt bad that T didn't get one too, so he gave it to him. This was the picture I had gotten of him before he went and gave his ball away. Heart of gold, love him so much.
We are still cheering on our undefeated Pokes even with a little too close for comfort win today...the girls are sporting their new Pistol Pete headbands!
Although it was rainy for most of the two days before, things cleared away for us to have a very fun "EPIC" Halloween, Saturday night, no school the next day, perfect! The kids raked in the candy and had a great time. This year we had a zombie (although if you ask Jacob what he was he'll say, "I don't know, just some random thing I found at the store." We had Cruella de Vil and we had Mack from Teen Beach.
She can turn on the sass:
Yes, that is a cigarette holder, ha!
The trick or treating crew:
I so wanted Jacob to be Johnny from Karate Kid, but his buddy Luke pulled it off. Maybe next year.
2nd Grade neighbors:
Annie and her sidekick:
Love my sweet, smart, funny, handsome boy!
This boy has my heart:
One house went all out, I've decided this will be our house once our kids are done trick or treating.
Sorting the loot:
Jacob's owl art (in the left hand corner of this picture) was displayed at Barnes and Noble at the Book Fair:
The Book Character Parade for Kindergarten...love this sweet girl, who was perfect as a Dalmatian from 101 Dalmatians:
Her awesome teacher was Emeraldilicious:
Soccer pics for Gwyn and Annie:
Gwyn's hip hop/jazz class did a little performance to the Adams Family and they got to wear their costumes:

Still sorting the loot:
One of Annie's favorite books, I wonder why:)
My sweet girls sleeping together:
This nasty little sucker stung Jacob. His name is Ding Dong Little Jerk. It was crazy, and scary and freaked me out as the pain rushed up his arm to his armpit and into his chest. These things are sending people to the ER right and left. We decided to drown him in soapy water since they don't like that, but Jacob quite enjoyed thinking of painful suffering ways for him to die.
