Going to the Big D and I do mean Dallas...ha! After spending several days in Oklahoma with the grandparents, the kids got dropped at Emily's house in Dallas, and we met them there for a couple of days of fun. I'm going to have to dig out my picture of the kids on the firetruck from years ago...love our sweet kids, they are growing up too fast! We went to Nick's new fire station and the kids got to ride in the truck, use the speaker system and blow the horn!
The big kids had cupcake wars, while Annie and Sadie and the adults got to be the judges...so much fun!
We went to the rodeo in Mesquite, TX, complete with BBQ dinner and all rodeo events and of course a clown!
Annie and Sadie made out with lots of autographs of the cowboys...thought this was too cute, Annie wanted the rodeo clown's autograph!
A quick visit to see Stacy and Justin's new house and see the cousins!
Reunited and it feels so good! Jacob with his bud:
Gwyn is farsighted, explains lots of little things over the last year, she'll wear them about 2 hours / day while reading, on the computer or iPad/homework. Should help lots.
