1.    Finally, our elusive rescheduled 2020 New York trip with Annie and me happened in May of 2022…so much fun!!

2.    Gwyn’s 14^th birthday with photo shoot at downtown murals and karaoke at Jason’s.

3.    Annie’s SBMSA basketball season with the Sparks and winter season of Petite Elite.

4.    Gwyn’s Spring/Summer softball season with Marucci.

5.    Gwyn’s 8^th grade Spring season of sports…soccer and track MMS track season…800- and 400-meter.

6.    Spring break in New Orleans, swamp tour, lots of awesome food, WWII museum, softball game at LSU…hello Trombone Shorty!

7.    Doing the Texas Independent Relay, so fun and exhausting!! What an experience!

8.    Gwyn’s 8^th grade dance with Ford, she was gorgeous!

9.    Annie’s 6^th grade confirmation and baptism.

10. Jacob discovering a love for golf, taking lessons and playing with friends.

11. Visits from Emily, Grace and Sadie, and a quick overnight stay with Great Grandpa.

12. Jacob umpiring at SBMSA games, he really is an amazing umpire!

13. Gwyn finishing 8^th grade, Jacob finishing his sophomore year, and Annie finishing 6^th grade…stop growing up!

14. Brian’s overseas travel, Brazil, London, The Hague…racking up the points for our next vacay!

15. The year of Jacob getting jacked, at Westside working out at least 6 days/week.

16. Workcamp for Jacob in Crockett (and me!) and Gwyn in Houston, doing good.

17. Jacob and Daylan’s summer sports camp and Gwyn and Avery’s summer fun camps…making that $$!

18. Jacob turning 16 and starting to drive…Jason’s old Tahoe.

19. Jacob getting in his first fender/bender in the Stratford parking lot of course…boo!

20. Fun trips with friends to College Station with the Payne’s, Lake McQueeny with the McWilliams, and the Payne’s lake house for Gwyn.

21. Annie and her Easter macaroon business!

22. The year of Jacob counting the macros and talking non-stop protein!

23. Fort Collins, Colorado summer fun trip, white water rafting, hiking, fly fishing, with a quick stop in Tulsa on the way!

24. Jacob going to Windy Gap, North Carolina - the best week of his life with Young Life.

25. The passing of Pepper, so sad, she was so loved.

26. Jacob’s return to baseball to finish his sophomore year with the highest batting average!  Summer season with the Toros and the end of his baseball career, so sad.

27. The start of 7^th grade for Annie, Freshman year for Gwyn, and Jacob’s junior year.

28. Soccer tournament for Annie in Austin, they won the championship!

29. A visit with Neely when she was in town for Catherine’s soccer tournament.

30. Gwyn’s Fall season with Texas Elite softball, new friends and lots of fun!

31. Dance Club for Annie…and her getting to do her final dance with Brian.

32. The prospect of college getting closer and closer…ACT test prep for Jacob!

33. Friday night football games, Stratford Friday Night Lights.

34. Annie turning 13 with a fancy dinner at the house, photo shoot and karaoke DJ’d by Jason!

35. A full year of Annie’s Albion soccer…she’s loving it, doing awesome, yellow card and all!

36. Halloween with Annie as a preppy Alien, Gwyn as a Stich and Jacob dressed as Maverick from Top Gun.

37. Gwyn’s progression in pitching…hitting 62 mph!!

38. Gwyn’s first homecoming dance with Jack Henry, and Jacob’s third homecoming with Allie.

39. Love the kids going on their Crumbl and ice cream runs, just the three of them.

40. Thanksgiving in LONDON…best vacation ever!!

41. A last-minute trip to the goat lady with the kids…city kids experiencing the farm!

42. Jacob’s first Sweet 16 dance with Julia, his first and of course custom-made Tuxedo!

43. Astros winning the WORLD SERIES!

44. College visit to Baylor with Jacob, Gwyn, the Rushings and the Lumpkins.

45. Aggie soccer camp for Annie in College Station!

46. Gwyn’s Fall Ball season with Stratford…her first taste of high school ball!

47. Holiday Hustle round 3 and this time with Brian and Jacob running the 5K, Annie running and WINNING the 5K in her age division, and Gwyn and me volunteering.

48. Brian’s amazing meals, he is cheffing it up all the time around here and spoiling us!

49. Christmas with Rick, Sue, Stacy, Justin, Elijah and Hannah in Oklahoma and at Jason’s with Nana, Papa and Susie, and a quick visit with Emily, Grace and Sadie in between.

50. The full year of 2022, making the most of this precious time we have with the kids before they are grown up and gone.  

Christmas Season...lots of fun!

 

Merry Christmas!  It has been a fun jammed packed month of December, lots of friends, lots of fun, lots of memories made.  Gwyn got her boot off and is back at it with softball.  Annie is into school basketball and soccer is taking a break til mid-January.  Jacob is playing golf non-stop and lifting weights. Our family helped host a neighborhood 5K and 1 mile fun run, Annie won her age division.  Brian and Jacob both ran the 5K too!  We went to Oklahoma for a few days for the Katterhenry Christmas with Rick, Sue, Stacy, Justin, Elijah and Hannah.  A fun stop in Dallas to see Emily, Grace and Sadie. We celebrated Christmas with Nana, Papa, Jason and Aunt Susie down in Houston.  Ice Skating, cookie making, lots of good food by Brian, painting, and loads of fun to wrap this year up!
