Disney World!!

There are 97 pictures in this post...the pictures say it all.  We had an "epic" trip to Disney World with the kids.  We dragged Jason along, who I think had a great time as well.  It was so much fun, the kids were great, they loved it (except for Epcot!).  We did Magic Kingdom two days, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and Epcot (for 1/2 a day), and even got to see John and Claudia!!  A very fun trip, I'm glad we took it when we did.  One and done, check it off the list.  We will probably go back and do Universal in a few years, but we did absolutely love the Disney experience we had this time!  We surprised the kids, and didn't tell them until the morning we were leaving, here is the video:

Gwyn with her mouse ears on, on the plane ride there:

Brian played the part of a solider during the story of Belle, ha!

Brian and I both think we have pictures when we were kids in these same shackles:

My beautiful princesses, so much fun!

Jacob and Brian on space mountain:

Princesses galore!

I love this picture:

My dragon slayer:

Day 2 on the hair, Gwyn's didn't move an inch, a true testament to her sleeping so still:
Annie, my little firecracker, her hair did move a bit (not much), but is also a testament to her sleeping like a helicopter...you always draw the short straw if you have to sleep with her!

Animal Kingdom was Gwyn's favorite:

We did a boat ride, fireworks on the lake in front of Magic Kingdom - mine, Brian's and Jason's favorite moment of the trip!

Off to Hollywood Studios...Jacob's favorite place:

Playing at the beach of the lake by the hotel:

A morning character breakfast before hitting Epcot (and then back to Magic Kingdom):

Love this picture:
Epcot, at least we can say that we've been here and we have our ball picture, ha!

Pumpkins!

I always like taking the kids to get pumpkins, and making them get pictures together (Jacob just LOVES this, ha!).  It makes it feel like Fall even though we are still sweating down here in Houston!  We picked out some good ones this year, and Jacob is going to carve one with Brian as well.  I'll be decorating one next week for the school Fall Festival.  We are entering a very busy October with lots of fun things on the calendar.   Love this sweet little toothless girl!

Jacob got a haircut the very next day, I'm realizing pictures may have been a little better after the haircut, but he still looks handsome!
Jacob and his buddy having fun!
 My sweet Gwyn:
 Gwyn with her little friend:
At this point, Jacob is saying come on, I see a really good one over there!
Funny things the kids said this week:
Jacob:  I wish I had an older brother, that way I wouldn't have to be the most responsible and set the example for everyone.  AND, I bet if we were wrestling with each other, he wouldn't cry and whine.
Me:  There are really good things about having 2 little sisters, you are blessed!
Jacob:  I guess so, I can't think of any good things right now, but I can tell you they are really annoying!
Jacob to Annie:  You just got ejected from earth.
Annie:  No, I'm not, I'm still here!

First Soccer Games and Stratford Spartan Football!

Friday Night Lights watching the Stratford Spartans play football, celebrating homecoming and watching Gwyn and Annie tear it up as part of the cheer clinic pre-game show...such a fun family night!  Gwyn and Annie with their little friends:

Their school had a Boosterthon, the fundraiser of the year, where the kids ran laps...equivalent to 3 miles.  The kids were super excited about it, we joke that they drank the kool aid on this one, I don't know how many times I heard funrun.com over and over, ha!
Gwyn and Annie ran at the same time together, it was crazy hair day for Gwyn:

 Jacob and his peeps:

 My sweet Annie:

Sporting the kilts that Sue and Rick brought back from Europe:

Annie and Gwyn both had their first soccer games, Annie's was quite entertaining:
This is pretty much what she did the entire first quarter, stand in the spot she was told to, and not move, even if the ball rolled right by her.  I thought this was going to be a long game!  Jason got all these pictures, and they came out great, thanks Jason!!
Who wants to score a goal?
A little playing zombies while we wait:
All of the sudden she just took off and went after it, she ended up scoring two goals, it was amazing! We were so proud of her!  This is her about to punch it in!

Even around the boys, her team is an all girls team, but the team we played had some boys on it, which she handled like a pro:)
Leading the pack with her tongue sticking out!
Tongue is still out, that means she's in control:
 About to score:
She had just kicked it, and it was going in between the goalie's legs:
My sweet Gwyn did so well, she played well, was aggressive, went after the ball and almost score a few times...maybe next weekend!

 Sweet girl!
Indian Princesses went to see a family magic show, so Brian and Gwyn went together with some other friends and their dads.  Such a sweet girl:
This one is loved by her Daddy!
