June...a month of FUN!

June brought with it the wrap up of softball, Gwyn played 5 out of 6 weekends in a row.  Annie played her last tournament as well.  Jacob had his last baseball tournament, and all three kids finished a fun little neighborhood swim team season.  Annie was a bright shining star on the team, and earned 6&U MVP!  She was quite proud and when I put her to bed last night, she said, "I want to do that again next year!"

Brian was a highly sought after Piranha drawer...had a line backed up for miles!

 Annie with Parker, so cute!

 Gwyn with Mck:

Annie finished the season with only first and second places...she said, I'm really good at getting 2nd, ha!

6&U has mixed relays...Annie on the deck, the only girl amongst a sea full of boys!

Annie made it to meet of champs...she was super proud!
The girls went to basketball camp the second week of June...
Gwyn got the Best Hustler award and Annie got the Most Enthusiastic award...she may be following in her brother's footsteps...in more ways than one...also called her brother and sister "losers" after she beat them in swim races!

The kids after Gwyn's last VERY HOT softball tournament!

Supporting Jacob's friend's brother before he had successful brain surgery, he is completely healed!
Annie with her signature hair do of the summer...the messy bun!

We babysat a guinea pig named Kipp, who liked watching the iPad and was very good at staring contests!

Jacob and I got to take a trip to Chicago...three nights with one on one time with my boy, a trip to remember!  Cardinals vs Cubs game, John Hancock bldg, Navy Pier, Giordanos pizza, Shedd Aquarium, Musuem of Science and Industry, biking along Lake Michigan!

The girls had their own fun at a writing camp with Ms. Rincon, a cooking camp with Ms. Brasher and Ms. Timmreck and hanging with G for the week while Brian was out of town too.
Finished last weekend with Jacob's last baseball tournament, what a great, fun season he had with the Spartans!
