Happy 4th Birthday Annie Jaye!

Our sweet Annie Jaye turned 4 on Sunday.  We celebrated with her birthday party at the house on her actual birthday, to which Jacob thought she got robbed since he is used to getting a celebration at school, then one on his actual birthday, then his real birthday party on another day.  She had a great day, decorated pumpkins, bounced in a princess bounce house, got lots of candy from the pinata and celebrated with lots of friends and family.  I just love this little girl, who is all about sweaters and skirts and picking out her own clothes, she likes apples with Nutella, she likes her crazy hair to be out of her face, she loves to play the ipad, dance with Gwyn, wrestle with Jacob, play with Lalaloopsy dolls and loves to color and draw pictures.  She likes to read books out loud and make up the stories that go along with the pictures, she likes Max and Ruby and Peppa Pig.

Love this picture of her dancing!

Annie with her buddy Atticus:

What is a 4 year old birthday without tears from the guest of honor?  I think she expected it to bust with her first swing:

Loved Gwyn's card to Annie:

I had pushed the pumpkin party on Annie since it was easy with decorations and a craft, but she threw in Strawberry Shortcake, so luckily I know the cake decorator pretty well and he was able to add some pumpkins with Strawberry:)

I now have a 7, 5 and 4 year old!
Annie likes to help Brian with the cake, and is into making silly faces:

Turned out awesome!
Birthday donuts for Breakfast!!

Annie decided to do her own flower arranging with some of her presents:
We've been taking advantage of Jason's awesome new camera and editing software:

Team spirit day at school...love these two:

Love this time of Year!

The kids were out of school for Columbus day, so we took advantage of the great weather and the day off to visit the pumpkin patch.  A little bad timing as they were receiving another huge batch of pumpkins later that day, but we did get some cute pics of the kids.

Jacob and Gwyn's schools Fall Festival is today, so Annie had a pretty good day with me at home yesterday, she was my assistant at making a ton of owl cupcakes for the cake walks.  She liked being the official taste tester!

My minion pumpkin turned out pretty cute!  We had fun putting it together and when I dropped it off there were about 6 other minions there...great minds think alike!  There were some really cool pumpkins, it is a fun little thing they do.
I'm loving my days at home with Annie, and I love the egg/stick people that she draws:
Cutest little Billy Goat Gruff around!
She is "into" writing books, she takes notebooks and pens everywhere and just scribble/scrabbles pages and pages and pages at a time.  I love how she's got her legs crossed in the car while she is getting her work done:
 One worn out little puppy:
Decorating a pumpkin while I worked on the minion one day:
Getting ready to go before school one day this week:

I hope the fashion police don't arrest him anytime soon!
Gwyn showing Annie how to bike for real, not with training wheels:
Annie moved up to a bigger bike and is loving it:
Jacob with "Mr. Creepy" our spider hanging on his web in the front yard:
 Coolest soccer star around!
Love how Annie's pictures turned out:
The boo crew!  We took several packs of goodies to friends houses, rang the doorbells and ran away.  The kids thought they were so sneaky, but we got caught about almost every house since the kids were practically yelling at each other to BE QUIET, which they were not being!
She is getting so grown up!  We picked her out some new clothes last weekend since she's growing out of everything left and right, she's so cute!
One of Gwyn's papers home from Kinder.  She has started an online reading program called Raz Kids.  As soon as she gets off the bus, she wants to get on it and read for an hour.  She's my little worker bee who loves school!

October is HERE!

I absolutely love October, one of my favorite times of the year with the kids.  Pumpkin patches, fall festivals and a change in the weather.  We had one of the hottest two soccer games on Saturday right in a row, it was in the upper 90s and then a little cold front swooped in Saturday night and dropped the temperature by 20 degrees by the evening.  It was so nice!  Today we spent a fun family day riding bikes, going to the park and enjoying the weather together.  Here is Annie with her little crocodile tears from not being able to catch Gwyn:
Silly Gwyn who loves the monkey bars:

 Love this sweet boy.
I did take a chance to talk to the kids about a few things while we were at the park.  Too funny how their little personalities come out on videos:

I didn't get very good pictures of Jacob at his soccer game, I was too busy cheering, ha!  He looks so grown up out there!

Gwyn did great at her soccer game, the Mighty Mermaids are 2-0!
This is what Annie does while I'm distracted with the game, stick pretzels up her nose, want one??

Enjoying some loot from a package from Nana and Papa:
We are trying multiple things to practice spelling words in...this one with whipped cream didn't  turn out too well because I think it was getting too melted as he was writing in it.  He had fun though!
Brian got some great tickets to the Houston Dynamo game on Friday night, so Jacob took a friend and got to watch some real soccer.  Ended up being a great night and Jason was there with some friends from Notre Dame.
Loving the work Gwyn is coming home with from school!

It says, "My house is a kasol."  Love that!
Funny things the kids said this week:
Jacob after Brian was telling him how to shoot the ball in the goal a little high to go over the goalie's head:  I can't do it anymore, I used to, but I lost it.
Gwyn to her friend Isabel:  Girls are butter cups or sugar pops, boys are booger bears or stink pots.
