Jacob's Last Day of 1st Grade, Trip to Walnut Creek Ranch

What a fast school year this has been.  Jacob has a great year, we really had the most phenomenal teacher...here he was on the first day of 1st grade, he looks like he has grown up so much!
I snapped this blurry pic of Jacob, but you should have seen him hug his teacher, he absolutely LOVED her!
One of the coolest things about the last day of school is that the entire school and neighborhood lines the street between the school and the neighborhood pool, they are equipped with water hoses, water guns and water balloons and throw them at the 5th graders as they run down the street.  The kids had a great time, and everyone was absolutely soaked.  The only hard part is to wait on the 5th graders to run down, so it becomes just a huge water fight one side of the street against the other.  So fun!

What a group of 2nd grade boys!
My sweet girls, Annie in her favorite skirt and Gwyn wearing one of her favorite long skirts.  We are all about the clothes in this house!
Brian and I celebrated 13 years together last week...dinner at Flemings.  It is hard to believe it has been 13 years, and that we've known each other for 16 years.  Three states, three beautiful kids, I think we've done alright:)
My cute little munchkin, love her!

We took a short drive to Walnut Creek Ranch to hang out with Jason.  It was pretty awesome.  It is not everyday that the kids can run around and see animals and play on 50 acres!
 Pretty cool windmill:
Prize for the biggest feather: Jacob
Prize for the grossest bunch of feathers:  Gwyn
Prize for the prettiest picked flower:  Annie
 Beautiful place:

Jacob got to drive the golf cart...his favorite part!

 She said those stink!

 Roasting some marshmallows:
My kids don't even know what to do with themselves...there are no hills to roll down in Houston!

My blinged out lego ship while playing with Jacob.  Jacob really wanted that pink lego off of there, but I think it added that little something extra!
Loved this cool picture Jacob brought home:
Owls galore for Gwyn and Annie:
Not a bad day, when you get a note from your little boy like this!
Jacob came home with piles of books he had created in class this year.  I loved this page from a book he made about Michael Jordan.  It says: "Air Jordan is the same thige as Michael Jordan.  Thay call hem Air Jordan because win he jumps in the air to dunke.  Thay say you got air." Love it!
