Halloween, Pumpkin Carving, Fall Festivals and Dewberry Farms Field Trip

We had a fantastic last week or so with lots of fun things going on.  Halloween was a hit, the kids looked so cute in their costumes and definitely brought back tons of loot!  The only down side, was that I came down with strep throat that day, followed up by Jacob who had it Monday and Tuesday, and then Gwyn who had it Tuesday and Wednesday.  Needless to say, with lots of kids home, I have gotten absolutely nothing done and my house is a disaster!  Crossing fingers that Annie doesn't get it, and once again, somehow Brian is immune to all this!  Here is my ninja:
Cutest Snow White around:

A good little Halloween Fairy...aka a witch!

Jason showed up in full costume as well, he's one pretty cool uncle:

Sweet friends:

For some reason, I can't get a decent sized picture of the master pumpkin carver and his apprentice.  Jacob was so proud to have carved his own pumpkin all by himself!

Jacob went on a cub scout campout with Brian for one night at Brazos Bend park, they had an amazing time and it looks like our family will be checking this place out pretty soon again.  It was a great location, had awesome bike trails and lots of huge real alligators!  Brian thought this was a statue, no, a 12 foot alligator just roaming around in the park!
Jacob got to pet a baby alligator:
A dirty trick by some Boston born neighbors, who hung these red socks in our yard.  We won't talk about the loss anymore...it is still a little too raw for Brian, ha!
The girls and I had a fun time while Brian and Jacob were gone, we played games, went to dinner, hung out with Jason and painted nails:
Annie is my little worker bee, she spends hours drawing and writing in little notebooks:
She also got all the paint out while I was putting laundry away, little mischief!
Gwyn is doing great in gymnastics, she's earned 8 stars for accomplishing different milestones:
Love these two sweet sisters:

Gwyn had her Kinder field trip to Dewberry Farms.  We had a great time together, and I was so happy that I was able to go on the field trip with her.  When I asked her at the end of the day what her favorite part was, she said, "That you went with me."  How sweet is she??  She had lots of fun, it was sweet seeing her interact with all of her little friends.  It was crazy hair day that day at school too, so that is why her hair is a little crazy, she loved it!
 Picking out the perfect pumpkin:

Gwyn and her sweet friend Tynsley:
Jacob had crazy hair that day as well:
Halloween tshirt day for Dare week the next day:
We took the kids to the Fall Festival at their school...confetti eggs and silly string were the biggest hits:
Annie just loves all this stuff the big kids get to do!
Jacob was pretty much covered like this the entire time!
Sweet Annie and Emerson getting in their morning reading:
I'm absolutely loving all the work Gwyn is bringing home from Kinder...love her drawings and her writing:

I asked Gwyn about this, she said she was upset when someone was mean to her, so she wrote this down for me because she wanted to write down what she was feeling.  Love my sweet girl!

Annie's drawing:
Jacob came home with a book titled "Create a positive vision"  I have no idea:

Love Annie's people:
A few crafts from Annie's preschool:
Funny things the kids said this week:

Gwyn:  Do you want to go to Heaven or that other place?
Me:  Heaven.
Gwyn:  Me too.  What is that other place called?
