Stink Bug Jacob

Jacob was a Stink Bug in his 2nd Grade BUGZ play.  He did so well, it was so sweet to watch.  He practiced his lines a lot, so he had them down!  Here is a video compilation of his parts:

He's the cutest stink bug I know:
His sisters were proud, especially Gwyn who got to see him during the daytime performance they put on for all the grades.  She was front and center cheering him on!

His pals, a maggot, grasshopper and a caterpillar:
Sweet Gwyn had her 100th day of school today.  She decorated her shirt with 100 jewels on it and was quite proud:

A few awesome shots that Jason got at one of Jacob's games.  It is really fun watching the basketball games this year, the boys are all "getting" it, they are making plays, it is fast paced and exciting to watch.  Jacob's team had their first loss last weekend by one basket...we shall see if Brian's lucky green skater boy vans tshirt makes another appearance this weekend!

Love this of Brian and Jacob:
Sweet little Annie Jaye is such a good sport about coming to all Jacob and Gwyn's activities...she's just a waiting until it is her turn!!
At least someone is enjoying those bagels that Daddy won at her school auction...a dozen a month for a year!
Gwyn got moved up to Pinkies in gymnastics...she's loving it!
Trying to catch a bit of sleet, since that is the closest thing we are getting to snow!
Annie addressed all her Valentines for her party, I love how she writes her name:
 She was proud too:
Jacob worked on a timeline project for a school project, the Life of Jacob in 3 minutes or less and in 5 pictures or less.  He did it all himself and it turned out great.

This one is perfecting this pose, she's always got a skirt on, her hands on her hips, and a smile to melt your heart.  Absolutely love her.

What a life, having to ride in her carseat, watching a movie on her ipad with a snack in one hand on her way to gymanstics class.
Jacob (or I should say Brian, who admitted to cutting each of the Fear The Beard letters out of  electrical tape) has worked hard on his Pinewood Derby car, weighing in at the max 5 ounces.  They race them on Saturday:
Gwyn is trying out a friend's roller blades, that she wants for her birthday.  We shall see how long this lasts, tears soon followed this picture that I took:
Worn out from a busy day of going to visit Jacob and Gwyn's school, swim lessons, gymnastics, a visit to the book store, the grocery store, and home to crash!
Sue recovered my dining room chairs while she was here last weekend, they look fantastic and are supposedly full-proof material...we shall see, my three kids will put these to the test!
I love having girls in the house, because you get this type of artwork:

I finally framed a favorite picture Jacob drew in 1st grade of a cowboy, I love this:
